Proxy authentication / manifest

How can you set the proxy information used to download the manifest file at runtime. I see that in ManifestManager.cs in uses the DownloadFile() method to retrieve the manifest. In that method it checks the ApplicationConfiguration.Current.ManifestManager for validatity and uses its AuthenticationType. However, in my case the ManifestManager is always null resulting in the default AuthenticationType of Anonymous.

OK... answered my own question. Just in case anyone else needs it...

Before calling the update.CheckForUpdates() method, use the GlobalProxySelection.Select property to set any proxy information you might need.
