I think I am just failing to understand the fundamental usage of the UAB. When I have an updated set of files and I put them on the server, a new manifest and RSA key need to be generated. This new RSA key needs to be updated in the client app.config in order for the validation to work? This does not seem convenient. I think I am missing something here. Please advise.

The new RSA key (public key) needs to be updated in the client app.config for the first time only. After that if there are new versions you dont have to update the client app.config. It is enough to create the new manifest file (with the manifest utility) with the same private key you used for first time. It is important to keep your PrivateKey.xml file in a secure place for your future releases if you are not going to use new key pairs.

Thanks RajahS. I did not realize I could reuse the private key. You've solved my problem.

Perhaps you could help with my other new thread entitled "showing file by file progress".

Thanks
