I based my updater on the autoinproc quickstart.

When I launch the app everything works fine, the files are upgraded untill the point where the app runs a wait.bat, it seems this .bat kill the process that was started earlier to do the update I cleanup some file.

SO, this wait.bat hangs, it doesn't give me any error message, I just see the ms-dos screen with the wait.bat command, and the windows saying that the app was updated, buuuuuuuuuut, if i close the ms-dos screens(that is hanging), if also close the app and double click on the wait.bat, it is gonna work fine, it will finish the processes, it will also update my .exe file and cleanup the files.

WHY ?

Does anybody had this problem before ?

I'm not sure, but it seems it started to happend when I signed all my assemblies with a strong name.

Thanx

Hi ,

I would like to suggest you to check the PostBuildEvent.bat file specifically the second line .

Copy * ..\..\..\..\Server

replaces this path with your server path where you are putting the update.

Let me know if this helps you.
