I was thinking of it because UAB folder is created at runtime, when uninstalling the application this folder will not be deleted by the MSI and hence creates some problems. In my case I would have preferred to go with Windows registry to manage the updates or some one may go with some xml database to keep track of updates.

Just a thought and feedback.
