Is this meaning the final release of the block is due end of June. I this is correct would this release also be for VB, or will that come at a later stage.

Yes, the SC-SF will be released end of month. Soon!!

The VB guidance packages will come after that.

Note: the only reason we ship the VB version of the Guidance Packages afterwards is that it is more cost effective to us. No other reason. We support VB and C# developers equally.

Don't want to sound inpatient, but today is the June 30th, last day of June. Is SC-SF release being delayed?

Thanks everybody for your patience! We are done! Last night we signed the final MSI and Q&A gave us their sign-off.

Now we are fighting with MSDN publishing pipeline to get the bits out there. We should be able to push the content out any time now.

Someone's got to say it... THANKS!!

For all the hard work. Our team has been waiting for this, and CAB/SC-SF is every bit as important to us as EntLib has been.

The P & P team has made development an enjoyable experience again.

Is there any ETA on the VB Guidance Package?

We don't have yet. Our priorities are:

1- Support the community: answer questions here
2- Complete the Hands-On-Labs (both developer and architect oriented ones)
3- Develop the VB Guidance Packages

Number 1 has slowed us a little bit, because we decided to spend more resources on tracking and addressing any issues that came up during the first 2 weeks after release. Number 2 are almost complete.

We should be able to publish something in the next 2-3 weeks.
