Hi all,

I'm using the Express editions of VS2005, and it's my understanding that none of the GAT stuff is supported. As I understand it, the GAT stuff is a kind of template, so we can do File -> New and get a starting point?

If so, are there any plans to have these projects that we can just copy on disk (maybe with instructions on what to change, should GAT include some kind of wizard to collect info) or a .vsi file (like the starter kits) for us little guys coding at home (that choose to use legal free versions, rather than rip off the paid versions!)

The GAT packages do a lot more than static templates are capable of. You may be able to get a small subset of the value out of static templates (for example, you may be able to get a module project to unfold, but it won't have the proper namespaces for inheritance, won't be able to automatically update the ProfileCatalog.xml, won't be able to set up the explicit project dependency, etc.).
