What support does this factory now provide in a wpf based project?

Is there going to be a library something like Microsoft.Practices.CompositeUI.WPF rather than Microsoft.Practices.CompositeUI.WinForms available. Has anyone started down this route.

Thanks, any help or direction will be gretly appreciated.

The current factory supports Winforms. There have been a number of prototypes using WPF and CAB. (see other threads, my blog, etc)

We also know of customers already developing solutions on CAB that use WPF, so we know it is possible.

From p&p perspective, we will start planning .NET 3.0 support soon, but we don't have any details yet.

Can the current View/Presenter approach coexist with a WPF components? I'm asking this on two levels;

1. Can I have WPF widgets live side-by-side in the same solution in which I have Modules using the current model?

2. Will it be possible to reuse Presenters I've written today with WPF widgets I develop tomorrow?

Thanks,

Chuck

atmchuck, to all your questions: yes.

Here is a link to a thread in the CAB message board that shows how to get started:

Besides the links in that post, there is also a CAB-with-WPF demo on GotDotNet by Austin Lamb.
It's excellent and shows how on XP we can use XAML for layout (only).
