Anyone knows if really there will be a .NET v2 release of the Offline Application Block?
If not, what can I use instead?

Thanks.

Hello Hugo,

as long as it's code, it can be converted :)
I have implemented a .NET 2.0 SalesApp using the OAB.
No issues with Detection, Caching, Config, ExceptionHandling.

Only thing I am permanently running into is:
When the block tries to update WinForms members of the main app, thread exceptions are being thrown.
Working on that one but - accepting that one - the app works stable and online/offline with different types of cache.

Not to mention OAB 2.0 would be highly appreciated here as well !

Kind regards,
Max

Well I have been looking into creating one myself, but the block is so big. Just to update the cache is being a challenge. And all the Exception handling also.

I am almost thinking of dropping it and doing the SC factory that GotDotNet has, here is a link
