Hi,

Has anyone thought of getting the queue provider to notify the executor when a message is available? By default the Executor is polling the queue every 1 second but I'm thinking this could be a problem for the UI (client).

Consider sending a message to get a customer detail from a service. The UI could potentially be waiting for 1 second before the request is even sent to the service. 1 second might not sound a lot but surely it's a delay in the UI that you could do without.

I was kind of hoping that is would be possible for the queue to fire an event when a message appears so that the Executor can dequeue it immediately.

Anyone think of problems with this idea?

Regards

Graham
