I've been trying to get the AdventureWorksToGo application working under Pocket PC 2003.

I'm hitting a problem with the CheckCredentials on the MobilePasswordAuthenticationService.

RsaAesCryptographyProvider is the only crypto provider and it uses PROVRSAAES which (as far as I can tell) is not supported in 2003. Both calls to CryptNativeHelper.CryptAcquireContext fail and so no handler is returned, this caused the later call attempting to use that handler in GetDerivedKey to fail.

Can I substitute a different provider? Which One?

I'm also trying to get the AdventureWorksToGo app working under Pocket PC 2003.

But I have the following problem. Connection Monitor throws TypeLoadException Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Utilities not found.

May be somebody knows how to solve this problem.

As far as I understand the Connection Monitor uses functionality available only in Windows Mobile 5 API. That is why not all MCSF application blocks can work on Pocket PC 2003. Some native calls will fail.
