I have a control that inherits from OrientationAwareControl in my Mobile 2003 project. I am using the standard MVP pattern with the MCSF, but I am implimenting it in a Mobile 2003 project. Everything seems to be working fine until I try to add my control that inherits from OrientationAwareControl to a form in my project. I can edit the form in the designer and everything looks great, but when I deploy I get an error from the resources.ApplyResources(object value, string objectName) method. The error is NotSupportedException and is related to System.Drawing.Binary. Has anyone run across this error before? Has anyone successfully implimented the OrientationAwareControl in a Mobile 2003 project? My goal is to reuse the majority of the source code for both a Mobile 2003 project and a Mobile 5.0 project.

Hi!

We have made an implementation of OrientationAwareControl for Windows Mobile 2003. It is discussed in this thread:
