Hi,

I'd like to create a workspace based on the Sanddock DockManager. However, after implementing IWorkspace, I get errors like this:
Error 1 Warning as Error: Missing XML comment for publicly visible type or member 'Microsoft.Practices.CompositeUI.WinForms.Workspaces.DockWorkspace' C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft patterns and practices\Composite UI Application Block October 2005 Community Technology Preview\Src\CS\CompositeUI.WinForms\Workspaces\DockWorkspace.cs 9 18 CompositeUI.WinForms

What's causing this? This occurs as soon as I make the class public?

Thanks,

Tom

The core CAB projects we ship all have XML comments turned on, as well as warnings -> errors. Therefore, when you add something publicly visible, you will need to add an XML comment.

You can use Project properties to turn off one or both of those options that are causing the compiler error.

Also, I would suggest that you consider implementing your own Workspace code in its own project/assembly. This gives you better flexibility on rules like this and makes you more tolerant of changes when CAB revs.
