Whenever I create a new Solution in VS2005, and after adding a solution folder to hold the CAB projects just like in the Quickstarts and Labs, I receive the following warnings:

Warning 1 The referenced project '..\..\..\..\..\Program Files\Microsoft patterns and practices\Composite UI Application Block Tech Preview 1\Src\CS\ComponentModel\ComponentModel.csproj' does not exist. c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215\Microsoft.Common.targets 0 0

Warning 2 The referenced project '..\..\..\..\..\Program Files\Microsoft patterns and practices\Composite UI Application Block Tech Preview 1\Src\CS\CompositeUI.WinForms\CompositeUI.WinForms.csproj' does not exist. c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215\Microsoft.Common.targets 0 0

////////////////////////////

When I double click on warning 1, I am taken to the Microsoft.common.targets file, line 18, which gives the warning:

Warning 1 The element 'PropertyGroup' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003' has invalid child element 'CustomBeforeMicrosoftCommonTargets' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003'. Expected 'Property' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003'. c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50215\Microsoft.Common.targets 18 10 Miscellaneous Files

In all, there are 61 warnings in the Microsoft.common.targets file at this point. I do not receive these warnings in the Labs. Any idea why?

Thanks in advance.

I am getting the same issue, anyone know how to resolve this?

Thanks,
Charles.

The way I fixed this problem was to create a solution folder, called CAB, in the solution and include the three CAB projects. I then set the references to the outputs of these projects and all went well.
