Hi all!

I tried to install the CAB Hands on Labs into the same directory as CAB itself, but I always get an error from the Windows Installer:

"The cabinet file 'Sample.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM or a problem with this package."

I have tried to download the CAB Hands on Labs several times from different networks and machines, the result is always the same.

It seems that the download file is corrupt.

Can anyone check this?

Cheers

Dear all!

I changed the install path from ...\Microsoft Patterns and Practices\Composite UI Application Block October 2005 Community...

to something shorter:

MPP\CAB CTP

and suddenly it worked :-)

Seems that the path was to long.

Thanks.

Cheers

Please be aware that the Hands on Labs do not work with the October 2005 preview release, only with the June 2005 Preview release.

We will be releasing new Hands on Labs for the final release of CAB.
