Am running VS 2005 Beta 2 and the June CTP of SQL Server 2005 (and the associated .NET FX). When I open the Lab2 exercise and paste all the necessary code blocks, the build process goes on fine, but during runtime, I get an error that the "myCustomer" object should be initialized. This variable is initialized to "null" by one of the lab steps and then the "Getxxx" method is called in it.

NB: I saw in the webcast that CAB and GAT do not go well together. I have GAT installed, but have not used it till date. I tried un-installing it, but am getting an un-installation error asking me to uninstall something (something like Meta Guidance Package) that I do not see in the application list (in Add/Remove programs).

Not sure if my CAB error is due to GAT. Any clues?

We only tested CAB with the Beta 2 build of Visual Studio, and we have heard from others that the code does not compile on later CTPs. This is probably the problem you're running in to.

The problem is due to the access level of the attribute. Change it to "public"
