Customizing the documentation

I have tried to follow the description in the SCSF docs about how to customize the documentation. Unfortunately after the documentation has been compiled by HelpStudio Lite, it contains no images, and it displays a runtime error. Is this a common problem, and how can I get around it?

Hi

There are two possible workarounds to get the images displayed:

  1. The one I would recommend is to edit the source path of the images (“src=…”) from “../local/imageName.extension to “local/imageName.extension from each HTML file (as you should do with the “header” and “footer” divs).
  2. The second one is to move the /local/ folder one level up.
The reason why the images are not being displayed is that, when you decompile the help file, the html files are on a separate folder (/html/) from the images (/local/) but the source of the images are taken correctly: “../local/imageName.extension. However, the HelpStudio starts looking for the images from HelpProjectFolder and then goes “../local/imageName.extension, so the images are not found.

Please let me know if this helps.
