Trouble with Event Publish Guidance

I've been trying to publish an event using the guidance. I right click on a presenter and select Smart Client Factory/Add Event Publication. The receipe starts to run and halts with this error:

Microsoft.Practices.RecipeFramework.ActionExecutionException: An exception occurred during the binding of reference or execution of recipe AddEventPublicationCS. Error was: Action SetMethodAsVirtual failed to execute:

Some garbled code is left in the presenter.

Anyone have any clues?

This is the garbled code left where the event should be. I've tried to repair the SCSF, re-install the Guidance extensions and remove and reinstall the Guidance Tool kit.

p//TODO: Add your code hererotected void OnNodeChanged() {

}

Does anyone know where the receipe is kept? Perhaps it's just a garbled file.

Hi

Here’s a thread that deals with the same error but regarding the CreateBusinessModule recipe: Recipe Framework Error . It provides two workarounds, if they don’t work for your particular problem, please, send more details about the error you are getting.

Please let me know if this helps.

"After turning ON the option “Place open brace on new line for methods” the recipe is working quite properly."

Worked very well for me
