Hello,

After installing the may resease of SCSF I'll wonder where the Layout module is.
Can onyone tell me what's the 'best practice' now to implement two business modules with different layout in one shell ?

Also i was a little bit disappointed about the fact that the checkbox 'Create a unit test project for this modul' results in a error message on a VS2005 professional.
Is there a reason that this option only work on VSTS ?
Is there a fix ?

Kind regards

Uwe

Hi Uwe, the latest version (as the previous one) doesn’t include an option to create a layout view for a business module. That option exists when you create a solution and when you Add a Foundational Module. Are you talking about the Foundational Module? .

In order to run the Add Business Module recipe with the option “Create a unit test project for this module” checked you have to have a version of Visual Studio that supports Team System unit tests. By now Visual Studio 2005 Professional doesn’t support the unit testing features. Just in Visual Studio Orcas the testing features will be available on Professional Edition. (Check this post: http://blogs.msdn.com/nnaderi/archive/2007/03/27/unit-testing-trickling-into-pro.aspx )

Let me know if this helps you,

Thank you for reply Ezequiel,

I am locking for a way to have different layoutViews for different BusinessModules.
Are there any documentation or samples for this ?
Any hints are welcome.

To the aspect on unit testing:
I had just wonderd why only VSTS is supportet and VS pro. shows an ugly error message. The code difference between NUnit tests and VSTS tests is very small. So it can help if the generated code is available but nothing, only an empty folder was generated.
Is there a fix, or a starting point how to do it ?

Kind regards
Uwe
